Please read this User Agreement carefully before using Clio. This agreement constitutes a legal contract between you and Clio, developed by Yeonni Lee. By using this app, you agree to comply with this agreement and relevant laws and regulations.

Clio is an AI-powered thinking companion and journaling app designed to help users explore their thoughts through reflection and requested AI insights. The service includes:
- Written and spoken journaling
- AI-generated responses when you request an insight
- Journal entries and conversation history stored locally on your device
- Voice-to-text transcription for spoken input

đ¤ 2. User Responsibilities
2.1 Device and Purchase Security
Basic journaling in Clio does not require a Clio account. You are responsible for protecting your device, your Apple Account used for purchases, and the information you enter into the app.
2.2 Age Requirements
You must be at least 13 years old to use Clio. If you are under 18, you must have parental consent to use our services.

When using Clio, you agree not to:
- Use the app to create, store, or distribute illegal, harmful, or infringing content
- Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or gain unauthorized access to the app
- Use the service for any commercial purposes without explicit permission
- Submit content that you do not have the right to use or process
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations while using our service

Clio and all related content, including but not limited to software code, interface design, and written content, are owned by Yeonni Lee and protected under copyright law. Without permission, reproduction, modification, or distribution of any content is prohibited.
Your journal entries and personal data remain your intellectual property, but you grant us limited rights to process this data to provide our AI analysis services.
đŗ 6. Subscription to Clio
Free Tier: Free users can request three AI insights within a rolling 24-hour period. Product limits may change as the service evolves; the current limit shown in the app controls.
Subscription Plans: "Clio Monthly" and "Clio Yearly"
Subscription Type: Auto-renewable subscription
Subscription Price: US pricing is $79.99 per year or $9.99 per month. Apple displays the applicable local price before purchase, and prices may vary by country or region.
Cancel Subscription: To cancel your subscription, go to your iPhone Settings â Apple Account â Subscriptions, and select "Clio Monthly" or "Clio Yearly" to manage or cancel it. Apple's current subscription instructions and the terms shown at purchase control when a cancellation takes effect.
Apple handles subscription billing and renewal through the App Store. Review the price, billing period, and renewal terms shown by Apple before confirming a purchase.

While Clio strives to ensure service stability and protect your privacy, we are not liable for service interruptions, data loss, or any damages caused by force majeure or factors beyond our control. Your use of Clio is at your own risk.

We reserve the right to modify the terms of this agreement at any time. In case of changes, we will notify users via in-app notifications or other appropriate means. Continued use of the app implies acceptance of the revised terms.
